Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. Ward was a student at Monroe Christian School, a Christian private school. After completing the requirements for high school she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer of her junior-year. She was a member of the dance and drill team. Following her graduation she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward started modeling when she was thirteen. She left school to move to New York. In the years following she decided to pursue acting. Initially, in 1970s she acted as an uncredited character in the show All My Children. A couple of years later, she was cast for the NBC primetime teen drama Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the young Meg Cummings in late 1996. The movie was a commercial disappointment in theatres, but it did find some commercial success with home-video and cable. Ward appeared in Shallow Hal in the year after, where she performed a role of support. Also, she has appeared in numerous other direct-to-DVD movies as well as guest roles on a variety of TV shows, including Friends. The ABC Family Drama series Make it or break It's primary team for its initial two years, Chloe Kmet played the mother of a young gymnast in the 2009 season. Her personal life includes a marriage to director David C. Robinson. The couple has the name of a son, Cameron.
